Welcome to Blackall State School, a school which caters for students from Prep to year 12.
Blackall State School’s purpose is to promote the academic, cultural, physical and social development of each child. Our whole school community strives for an environment which is safe for all its members, where our students develop a sense of belonging and pride in themselves and have access to worthwhile learning opportunities.
Our dynamic school is open and friendly and is a place where parents are encouraged to play an active role in daily school life.
Blackall State School was established in 1877. The existing ‘A’ block was opened 25 September 1965 following a fire on 5 October 1964 which destroyed the previous school.
